The guideline prepared by Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum aims to enable companies to take action against the violence women face in close relationships in cooperation with TÜSİAD and the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Sabancı Foundation. During the launch of the guidebook;T.C. Minister of Family and Social Policies Sema Ramazanoğlu gave a speech.The guide was shared on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 with the meeting held at the Chamber of Industry of Odakule, Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

The opening speeches of the meeting were made by T.C. Minister of Family and Social Policies Sema Ramazanoğlu, TUSIAD Chairman Canse Basaran Symes and UNFPA Representative in Turkey; Regional Director of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia Karl Kulessa.Following the opening speeches, a session was organized under the moderation of Nur Ger Eşin, President of TÜSİAD Gender Equality Working Group. The presentation of the guide was made by Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum Director Melsa Ararat. The session provided information on the implementation of the guideline and best practices in the guideline.
