Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, Projects Manager, Sabanci University Corporate Governance Forum

Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş is the Sustainability Projects Coordinator of Sabanci University Corporate Governance Forum (SU CGFT) and Country Projects Manager of CDP in Turkey. She is responsible for managing Climate Change, Water, Forest programs and international campaigns of CDP which is an international, not-for-profit organization providing the only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share vital environmental information. She is working with the leading companies in Turkey to help them to manage and disclose their climate-related impacts and giving decision makers especially investors the data they need to change market behaviour.

She studied Political Science and International Relations and earned her first master’s (M.A.) degree in Sabancı University and University of Aarhus on European Union. After graduation, she worked on EU affairs for several years in European Stability Initiative and Euractive. She also worked in DG External Policies in European Parliament in Brussels.

She received her Masters of Science (MSc.) degree from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on European Political Economy with the Chevening Scholarship of UK Government. She focused on sustainability and climate change policies during her study. She is working on sustainability, corporate governance and environment related projects since then.
